Cost

Under CICP, you are responsible for co-payments for services received. You will be assigned a "rating" based on your total income and resources. The rating determines the co-payment amount that you will be charged for medical services. If you have health insurance and are also eligible for CICP, you may use CICP as a secondary option. Your CICP provider will bill your health insurance first. You will pay the remaining charges your health insurance does not cover or your CICP co-payment, whichever amount is lower.
